3. Must/mustn't
- It expresses necessity. There are two types of necessity:
- Obligation:
E.g. I must go home now. I have got to be at work early
tomorrow.
- Logical necessity.
E.g. This bill must be wrong. We haven't spent that much.
4. Needn't:
We use needn't, don't need to, or haven't got to say that it is not
necessary to do something.
E.g. I needn't/don't need to/haven't got to get up early today.
