1 GENERAL
Are the shop drawings approved?

2 FABRICATION
Verify size and dimension of rolled sections
Verify size, dimension and banding for grating
Verify size and dimension of roof joists
Verify size and dimension of ladders
Verify size and dimension of hatches
Verify metal deck thickness and profile
Verify shop painting, galvanizing or other protective coating
Verify bolts are ASTM A325

3 ERECTION
Verify erected steelwork is square, plumb, straight and true
Verify joints and connections are accurately fitted and tight
Verify anchorage is adequate (anchor size, material, spacing)
Verify welding of steelwork to embedded items (ie. Roof joists)
Ensure OWSJ bridging is in place
Verify size and spacing of roof deck welds to structural steel
Verify steel deck end and side laps
Check that handrail ends are capped and ground
Check that kick plate is installed
Check that grating panels are secured to structural supports
Field weld items to be touched-up with primer or galvacon
