AUSTRALIAN RIFLE COMPANY PACIFIC WAR

We have created three different Intelligence Briefings to cover the changes in ratings, support,
organisation and equipment used by the Australian in the Pacific. The first briefing covers Militia
and regular force in New Guinea with a 1941 to 1943 Australian Rifle Company. The second
briefing covers the reforms and changes for the fighting in 1943 to 1945 with the Australian
Jungle Rifle Company. Our final briefing cover the 1941 to 1945 Australian Commando
Squadron. The commandos were lightly equipped and were used for raiding and flanking
moves.

NEW ZELAND RIFLE COMPANY PACIFIC WAR

New Zealand remained committed to fielding a division in Italy, but despite this the New
Zealand government began raising the 3rd New Zealand Division to take part in the Pacific War.

These troops saw combat in the Solomon Islands during the Green Islands campaign. We have
created a New Zealand Rifle Company for these campaigns.

Método de elaboración:

Este Briefing ha sido elaborado en base a las previsiones anunciadas por BF (que nunca se
publicaron). Los puntos están diseñados para el periodo de PW (equivalente a EW) reduciendo
así al máximo el número de posibles errores que yo pudiera cometer. Se ha descontado el
coste de los teams a remover según las reglas de la V4.

He procurado ser lo más fiel posible a la información que he podido encontrar de las tropas
presentes históricamente en el escenario. De igual forma, he evitado la inclusión de algunos
ratings (por ejemplo, Matildas II Fearless/Veteran) que seguramente eran más apropiados por
no disponer de una referencia directa de puntos adaptable. En caso de duda de presencia de
real de una tropa, he optado por incluirla. Si existe algún ausente, solo puedo entonar el mea
culpa.

Letras: Al lado de cada unidad consta entre paréntesis una o más letras (E) (M) (L). Esto indica
su disponibilidad en las jornadas del periodo correspondiente (no he diferenciado por jornada,
solo por los grupos de periodos)

NOTA: Se ha evitado conscientemente la creación de los briefings más problemáticos o que

más reglas especiales pudieran necesitar. De igual forma he juntado varias listas en una con el
método de letras antes citado. Estos Briefings se han desarrollado con la mejor de las
intenciones, pero pueden tener errores y no gustar a todos.

Trained (Fearless/Trained).

En las jornadas correspondientes a Late War, debes escoger las tropas de la opción Veterana
(Fearless/Veterant).

Las unidades con Rating específico lo tienen indicado en su descripción.

Todas las unidades son Australianas y usan las reglas especiales para dicha nación tal y como
se describen en el libro Hellfire & Back y en el manual de adaptación.

contrario. Las unidades aliadas conservan su rating especifico tal y como vengan descritas en el
libro Gun-Ho

Las unidades con Rating específico lo tienen indicado en su descripción.

Todas las unidades son neozelandesas y usan las reglas especiales para dicha nación tal y como
se describen en el libro Hellfire & Back y en el manual de adaptación. Las unidades de la
columna de aliados son tropas americanas del libro “Gun-Ho” cuentan como aliados, usan
siempre la columna de pacífico y su disponibilidad se rige por el listado correspondiente de la
liga catalana.
