I think that it is a nice film and a little funny.

Yes, they fell in love the first sight each other at the
restaurant.

They are different cultures.

The language is the same but the sound is very different.

background?
The differences are that Toula´s family dressed humble and
Lan´s family dressed defined.

 She was very impressed when she saw Lan.

This film teaches the qualities of the two families of different

cultures, is a beautiful story where two young people named Lan
and Toula fell in love the first time they saw, Toula was shy and
Lan was the opposite, the time pass and Toula was more beautiful
because her hair were more and her dress were different and she
not worked in her father's restaurant where she saw Lan, she was
working in an office.

Toula's father always advised him to look for a partner, Toula had
never fallen in love, one day Toula returned to see Lan since then
they began to get to know, they decided formalize their
relationship, at first the toula's father did not agree but
afterwards he accepted.

Lan introduced her parents to Toula who were of different culture

than Toula, I think that even though her parents felt comfortable
with her, both families met, was here where the differences
between the two families were reflected, Toula's family was very
simple, while Lan's parents were people with class.

The wedding was very good, the family´s Toula enjoyed a lot,
Lan's parents also although they expected a wedding with more
prestige, time passed and Toula realized how her had changed his
life, Toula was very happy.

Lan and Toula had a child and lived in the house that her father
gave. The really were a happy family, the Toula´s father was very
strict and complicated but he loved her. I liked the film and
teaches me that never is late to change.
