Drumheller, AB & Princeton, BC: Lead coach
- Organized and implemented a 5-day basketball camp one week in June (in Drumheller, AB) and
one week in July (in Princeton, BC).
- Taking part in teaching kids the skills related to basketball as well as having “coaching talks”, where
students in the camp could ask the coaches questions related to the game of basketball.
- Coached the fundamentals of basketball for kids in Grades 6-12, aided in the development of
their skills as well as taking every opportunity to teach them about teamwork and the confidence
and character-building aspects within sport.
- * Our camp dates fluctuate from year to year, depending how many players we have that sign-
up *

May & June 2012 – 2016 Badlands Basketball Spring League Program
Drumheller, AB: Head Coordinator
- Head coordinator of a developmental basketball league for Grades 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11
- Program happened every Tuesday & Thursday
- Coached a youth team (4, 5, 6), a junior & high school girls team as well as a junior & high school
boys team (7, 8, 9, 10, 11)
o For the youth (4, 5, 6), there was a half hour developmental practice coaching the skills of
basketball
 After the practice session, the children participated in an organized game
o For the older kids (7, 8, 9, 10, 11), they solely participated in an organized game
o Program ended with a final tournament

May & June 2012 – 2016 Badlands Basketball Youth Developmental Program

- Co-coordinated a basketball program for Grades 1, 2, & 3 every Sunday for 6 weeks
- Introduced kids to the game of basketball by playing effective games that develop the skills of
basketball

competition against over 30 other Canadian Universities in both Athletics and Academics.
- Our team was able to take home the Gold Banner for competitive Dodge ball!

INTERESTS AND ACTIVITIES

I enjoy staying active and playing lots of sports such as; basketball, softball, swimming, biking, hiking,
snowboarding, yoga, and resistance training. I am a very active person who is highly motivated in teaching
children about the benefits of physical activity and health.
