The Verb To Have
• Have is one of the most common verbs
in the English language.
To have as a main verb
The verb “to have” implies the meaning of possession.

For example:
“I have a job.”
“I have a car.“
"I don't have any time."

The forms of the verb “to have” are have and has for the
present.

he eats breakfast, he doesn’t like milk, so he usually
drinks orange juice.

After breakfast he walks his dog Milo and then feeds


him. After that he goes to the gym, he doesn’t use the
pool because he never learned to swim.

When he finishes exercising he goes to the nearest


restaurant and have lunch, then he goes back to his
house. He doesn’t take a nap, because his work starts
early in the afternoon and he has to catch the bus at
1:30 pm.
