1 Present field of study(現在の専攻分野)

I have studied Electrical (Telecommunication) Engineering and my specialization field is Telecom section
especially wireless communication.

2 Your research topic in Japan: Describe articulately the research you wish to carry out in Japan.
(渡日後の研究テーマ:日本においてどういった研究がしたいかを明確に記入すること)

My ultimate academic goal is to earn a PhD, but enrolling first in a master degree in “Antennas Designing for
Microwave Communication” will enable me to explore my various interests and make a more informed decision about
which specific discipline I will want to study in depth.
Aim of this field would be to:
 To understand Different software’s that develops the Microwave Antennas
 To understand different parameters of antenna while propagation such as:
o Return loss
o Input Impedance matching
o Gain
o Directivity and
o Efficiency
o Reciprocity
o Radiation pattern
o Band width
 Designing different antenna using multiple software’s which includes.
o Dimensioning of the ground, substrate and others materials.
o Properties of the ground, substrate and others materials.
o Port/Feed designing

Methodology:
This field will comprise of following steps:
 Understanding of antenna theory which will include
 How it works
 Antenna parameters as discussed before
 Understanding of multiple antennas design
 Bandwidth improvement of multiple antennas using different software’s
 Explanation and analysis of its parameters

Outcomes:
The fundamental/expected outcomes of this project would be:

 How to increase bandwidth of multiple antennas by using different software’s

 Working and designing of antennas for wireless communication networks

3 Research plan in Japan: (Describe in detail and with specifics — particularly concerning the ultimate goal(s) of your
research in Japan) (研究計画:詳細かつ具体に記入し、特に研究の最終目標について具体的に記入すること。)

Generally, we have two types of studying structures. They are theoretical and practical.
But both of them are interconnected with each other. Without studying theory, we can’t do practical.
A good expert engineer must be good at both theory and practical.
The structure or the method that I will follow in Master Degree will be like below:
a. Studying something theoretical.
b. Applying them or practice them in laboratory.
c. Create new ideas and challenges.
d. Prepared it for future using
But, I will break down my two years’ research plan into short terms parts (per months or per semesters). That
will be able me to easy manage my project or whatever I am working on it. Working hard, collecting information,
designing different antenna and developing new ideas every month’s will lead me to concentrate me more and specific in
my field and to achieve what I want. At the end of every semester. I will present my new work/project design to Project
manager and University committee teams.
One thing I am very excited about my learning forgiven language skill in short time.
This will able me to easy work and get familiar with Japanese Structure and also this will help me
to use different Japanese books, journal and research papers directly without translation. Specially during
thesis writing, research paper and preparing presentation.
The thing I love about study in Japan giving more facility to students to work in the laboratory and
do their experiments. I am one of the laboratory-study students. I will do my experiments in laboratory and
applying my theory into real thing. And I will analysis the result of my project in different way. Then
I will select the best and easy way.
Then, writing thesis or journal about my project I will use the latest methods and strong new ways
to be easy understand and to be useful in the future. During my thesis, Project or Journal writing I will use
both practical and theoretical methods. I will have used different source material during my theoretical research
specially the Japanese advance technology and during practical research I will work in laboratory and should
meet different Telecom companies in Japan or in my hometown country, specially where I am working now It is
on the top Private Telecom Provider Company in Afghanistan and also others.
And the contribution of my field to the society will be:
First of all, by providing such facilities like: installing 3G and 4G equipment’s (using Microwave
Communication) in rural area will the distance between the people. For example, I know form my experience. Our native
place is so far from the city. Whenever, someone try to call somewhere. They should come somewhere where network
antenna available. But it is still running in that way. I feel that I have strong abilities to provide such facilities specially
for my nation. Secondly, we know every year new technologies have been invented in this field, especially in last twenty
years the telecommunication field is going so fast form 2G to 4g and still going on. Third, by investing on new
technologies the company will get more income and more jobs will be available for engineers.
As an Asian student, my ultimate wish is to get the opportunity to study in Japan and learn the fundamental
principles that have contributed to the success of Japan so I can apply such principles in me Home country, Afghanistan.
Recently Japan emerged as one of the most favorite higher education destination. That is why, Japanese are very calm,
respectful, hardworking, have a great respect for their culture and interesting to work with. The respect Japan has for her
culture, successes achieved by multinational Japanese Companies, are inspirational enough for me to pursue higher
education in Japan. It will be an honor and great opportunity for me to serve any Japanese Government Institutions or
company with my expertise. With the advancement of technology in Afghanistan, a crop of highly trained professionals
is needed to help deliver the goods. One of the ways to help is through teaching and research. The paths to success of any
nation are science and technology, research and development. With this in mind, I wish to instill the spirit of research in
students I would teach for the development of our society.
