Project Title Krushed

Section 1: Rationale (Approx 100 words)

Since the beginning of the course I have definitely developed my skills in filming with a
camera.

Section 2: Project Concept (approx 200 words)

My project tells the story of a group of friends who get heavily involved with drugs. This will
mostly show the negative side of drugs, for example the problems with money, addiction
and the loss of friends.

Everyone in the group will come from a different background with a different story and the
episode would go through showing how each person deals with the problems of drugs,
some dealing with it well and others dealing with it badly.

I want to do this for my project because a lot of shows that include drugs (e.g. Skins) show
them in a positive light most of time with people having a good time once they’ve taken
them which can make viewers who it think that taking drugs is a good idea yet a lot of the
time it can go wrong.
Section 3: Evaluation Methods (approx 50 words)
I will reflect on my work by using a production diary. Every time I change something about
my project or add something new I will type up a note about it so I can keep an ordered
track of what I’ve done and when.

Project Proposal – Unit 08

Project Action Plan and Timetable

This section provides you with an opportunity to outline your planning and organisation over a period of
weeks, and the activities you will need to carry out in order to successful complete your project within the
agreed time frame. It is important that you consider how you will balance ambition, time and realism in
the realisation of the project.
This should include what you are going to do, how you will do it and by when. The more time and thought
you give to
planning your project, the more successful it is likely to be. Remember to include: time spent sourcing
materials,
questionnaires, access to workshops, tutorial and peer group feedback, and where you will incorporate
independent study
