Well human rights is a right that is believed to belong justifiably
to every person.Martin Luther King Jr, Eleanor Roosevelt ,and Malala all believed that people without a voice should be heard, So that is why they decided to fight for human rights of the people. In “On the Adoption Of The Universal Declaration Of Human Rights” by Eleanor Roosevelt, the Central Claim of the text is to fight for Human Rights, throughout the text Eleanor Roosevelt uses various forms of various forms of rhetoric to advance that purpose. One example of this when she uses Ethos she says “The Declaration Of Human Rights may well become the international of Magna Carta of all men everywhere.” This is an example of Ethos because is appeals to the audience’s sense of credibility by explaining that the document is almost as efficient as magna carta. Furthermore, Eleanor Roosevelt uses repetition to advance their purpose when she says,”agreement” over and over again. This specific example of repetition advances the author’s purpose because Roosevelt is trying to come to an agreement with other nations to come to an agreement to fight for human rights. In “Address to the United Nations Youth Assembly “ by Malala Yousafzi, the Central Claim of the ext is to fight for Human Rights for those without a voice can be heard. Throughout the text Malala Yousafzi uses various forms of rhetoric to advance that purpose, One example of this when she uses Ethos when she says.”In the name of God, The most Beneficent ,The most Merciful. Honourable Un Secretary Mr.Banki-Moan, Respected President General Assembly Vuk Jeremic, Honourable Un envoy for Global education Mr.Gordon Brown, Respected elders and my dear brothers and sisters.” This is an example of Ethos because is appeals to the audience’s sense of credibility by showing how grateful she is that everyone helped her, So Malala is giving them credibility.Furthermore, Malala uses the repetition to advance their purpose when she says, “their right”. This specific example of Repetition advances the author's purpose because she wants to show everyone should have the opportunity to live life without any worries. In “Letter from a Birmingham Jail” by Martin Luther King Jr, the purpose of the text is to fight for Human Rights. Throughout the text King uses various forms of rhetoric to advance on that purpose. One example of this is when he uses pathos when he says “The streets would be flowing with blood.” This is an example of pathos because it appeals to the audience’s sense of emotion because if King did not come up with peaceful protest, the protests would be violent and would frightened people.Furthermore, King uses an allusion to advance their purpose when he says “An unjust law is no law at all.” This specific example of an Allusion advances King’s purpose because King thought if a law is unfair to any one at all and that is should not be a law. In conclusion, all three of these human rights activist tried their best to accomplish the impossible and achieved but in today’s world there are over 197 countries were they are violating their people’s rights for example In North Korea human rights abuse is plentiful. Prisoners, mostly made up of impoverished individuals locked up for committing petty crimes in their efforts to survive, are subject to horrific treatment. In 2011, 120,000 prisoners were held in gulags, starved and later publicly executed by firing squad. Something should be done about this it is unfair that innocent people die everyday trying to survive in this country full of hate towards their country’s leader. Our society’s progress has not gotten anywhere since no one puts a effort to make the world a better place instead its problems are just piling up.
