no program other than lightwave has the concept of the two different subprograms : the
"modeler" where you create your objects and "layout" where you composite your scene and
make animations. I find this feature an amazing thing.

what has lightwave to jealous from other programs? modeling? texturing? dynamics? fx? what?

I'm also a 3ds max user but forgive me .....Lightwave is the best.

it all has to do with the marketing of course.....

Fuck off, literally Maya and 3DS Max do the exact same thing, just different UI's and I am found
to prefer the UI of 3DS Max and then you have C4D and Blender that are on maybe just a slightly
lower level, Lightwave never appears on that list ever. Lightwave is a clunky af program that is
garbage af. Never use Lightwave, it's for unprofessional noobs who think they can create things.
Houdini is even better than Lightwave, and Houdini has horrible UI...
