GLOSARY

Emissions: something that is emitted, discharge or some emanation.

Toxins: any poison produced by a living thing or when the trash is burned.

Symptoms: any phenomenon, sign or circumstance accompanying something and


serving as evidence of it.

Chemicals: is used in some products or produced by chemistry.

Garbage: matter that has been discarded like food waste.

Refuse: to decline to accept (something offered by someone).

Dioxin: a general name for a family of chlorinated hydrocarbons, C12H4Cl4O2,


typically used to refer to one isomer.

Recycle: to use again in the original form or with minimal alteration.

Chlorine: an element, a heavy, greenish yellow poisonous gas, used to purify


water and to make bleaching powder.

Trash: anything worthless or thrown away.

Rubbish: worthless material that is thrown out called trash.

Diseases: any harmful condition or some sickness that had.

Headache: a pain located in the head.

Susceptible: allowing or admitting of some specified treatment or response

Exposed: left or being without shelter or protection

Citizens: a member of a state who owes allegiance to its government and is


entitled to its protection

Impact: to have an impact or effect on or influence in something.

Asthmatics: a person who suffers from asthma.
