To whom it m~y concern:

I have observea RiKKi DombrowsKi during her mother'S

individual therapy sessions here at The Center for Counseling for
i'ppro:<im<ltely
one year. During this time period. Rikki appeared to
..
be a well adjust~d, happy child. She adapted to her surroundings
and would frequently leave her mother's side and explore my office.
One time when Claudine was crying about Rikki having to leave for
a week, Rikki climbed up in her mother's lap and wiped her mother'~
tei'rs with a kleen~x, Claudin~ is a loving, conscientious parent
to her daughter Rikki, Her daughter' E' welfare is her first
conCern.

After the ruling from the court that Rikki should visit her
father for one week out of each month, Rikki seemed to be more
hesitant to explore, Her need to sit on her mother's lap and
maintain contact Wi'S evident, 'In my professional opinion, no child
should be 6ubjected to the lack of contact with her mother for a
week at a time, especially when the father does not allow phone
contact. This is very traumatic for a young child when this has
not been the pattern in her life since birth. Separation anxiety
is a concern for this type of situation.
