General
The EL/K-1891 is a full duplex Ku Band SATCOM
“On-the-Move” (Satellite Communication) Network
ideally suited for uninterrupted wideband Over-The-
Horizon (OTH) communications.
Each subscriber port of the SATCOM network can
be either static or mobile (Ground-based Mobile,
Airborne or Shipborne) and has to be within the
satellite’s footprint area with its antenna tracking
the satellite.
The high digital data rate on the carrier link can
include voice, data and compressed video.
The SATCOM Network is employed for military,
para-military and commercial applications. Its
modular modern architecture design is based on
ELTA’S experience of more than 25 years in the
design and manufacture of data links.

The communication between any two subscribers

is bi-directional and routed via standard links of a
Geo-Stationary Commercial Satellites.
