2.2.45 Bollards
o Single bollard must have the minimum following dimensions- 600mm W x 600mm
D x 2000mm H
o Bollards performance must be a minimum of: loading-25 tonne
o PAS 68 bollards impact absorption: single SB970CR bollard -1852KJ (fully
operational immediately after impact)
o Dual Bollards - 1852KJ (fully operational immediately after impact)
o Full PAS 68 Classification: V/7500(N2)/80/90:0/25 Tested Model 990 mm Hx 322
mm dia 25 mm wall thickness
o Must have Minimal foundation requirement (2.25 cubic metres)
o Must be physically impact tested to PAS68 criteria
o Must be manufactured from heavy gauge materials
o Must have manual hand pump facility
o Must have a programmable logic control system
o Must have 100% duty cycling
o Minimum Operating temperature range from -5 deg C to +70 deg C
o The standard speed of operation must be - 6 Seconds to raise or lower
o The construction must be from fully welded, heavy gauge, steel angle and box
section completely encased with steel sheets to provide a self-shuttered
module.
o The bollard is constructed using hi-tensile structural steel.
o Must have Emergency buttons with lockdown
o Must have Inductive loop systems
o Must be connected to the UPS back up for the electrical system
o Accumulator systems for hydraulic operation must be available in power fail
conditions
o Must be connected to the Access control systems
o Must have Emergency fast raise

2.2.46 Road Blocker

o Must have minimum blocking length of 3m and lift height of 1.2m.
o Must have a minimum lowering time of 2.2 secs, minimum rising time of 3.7 secs
with MCBF 2,000,000 cycles.
o Must have passed crash test and certified according to M50 P1 F2656-07 ASTM
standard , equivalent to K12.
o Must have LED indication, two units of power hoses, power station with
electronic controller & hydraulic unit, wired remote control unit and protective
curtain.
o Must include options for hydraulic hose extension; wireless control units; traffic
