TERRACE WATERPROOFING (METHOD OF APPLICATION) :

Dr.Fixit Torch Shield Mineral Finish Waterproofing Specification

1 Clean the surface of dirt, dust and loose particles.

2 Repair the cracks and undulation surfaces with polymer mortar using Dr.fixit. URP.
3 Haunching the corner and seal the drain outlet with polymer mortar.
4 Apply one coat of solvent based bitumen primer .
After 24 hours align the Dr. Fixit Torchshield mineral finish Roll correctly & re-roll
it in alignment before torching.Use gas burner to heat substrate & underside to

softening points. When the embossing disappears, roll forward & press firmly
against substrate to bond from the lower end towards the higher end.
6 Keep overlap margin for minimum 100 mm.
Heat both the overlaps & use round tipped trowel to seal overlap. Excess compound

should be smoothened pressed into seam using hot trowel.
Dr. Fixit Torchshield mineral finish applied all over the joint sealed with blown hot

bitumen.

PARAPET WALL WATERPROOFING:

SURFACE PREPARATION
Surface for treatment must be thoroughly cleaned of all laitance, loose material, oil, Crease.
Mechanical means such as wire brushing, shot blasting can be used, and finally vacuum clean
all loose solids and liquids if required. All surface cracks up to 5 mm width should be filled up
with DR. FIXIT CRACK-X range products. The cracks more than 5 mm wide and all separation
gaps should be filled up with DR. FIXIT PIDICRETE URP modified mortar or as specified.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE :
The surfaces should be primed with DR. FIXIT PRIMESEAL diluted with potable water
in the ratio of 2:1 by volume. Prior to application of DR. FIXIT RAINCOAT finish coats and
allow it to dry for at least 2 to 3 hrs.
Apply 2 neat coats of DR. FIXIT RAINCOAT with an interval of 5 to 6 hrs. Allow it to cure for 7
days
