It’s easy to say, “Here’s a bright new day” People might do things that hurt you
But sometimes things go wrong Make you feel so down and out
When your life’s not going right But remember all the friends who care
Just sing a happy song Then you can sing and shout

Nothing is impossible Nothing is impossible

When you believe When you believe
Look to your Father up above Look to your Father up above
He knows just what you need He’ll meet your every need

Lantern Festival is an important Chinese holiday. It marks the end of the
Chinese New Year celebration. This year it is March 2.
People celebrate Lantern Festival in many ways. They usually light and enjoy
lanterns. Lanterns can be many shapes and sizes. They can be round. They can
have animal shapes. People can see them everywhere. Sometimes parks have
big lantern displays. Children often carry small lanterns in the streets.

There are many customs at Lantern Festival time. People enjoy guessing answers
to lantern riddles. Lantern owners write riddles on paper notes. They put them on the
colorful lanterns. Then people try to guess the answers. If someone guesses the answer,
they go to the lantern owner. If their answer is right, they usually get a small prize.
People can also see lion dances at Lantern Festival. Two performers get into a lion suit.
The lion entertains people. It dances to the beat of a drum. The lion rolls, jumps and
does other tricks.

Plastic bags pollute the environment. City governments know this. They want
people to use fewer plastic bags. So they make laws about plastic bags. In some
places, stores cannot give them to people. People must pay for them. So people
will bring reusable bags and save money!
But there are problems with reusable bags. They get
very dirty. You should wash them on a regular basis.
But most people don’t. Germs from the dirty bags
might get on your food and make you sick.

no money and no friends.

Now the young man was not happy.

“This is terrible,” he cried. “I have no money and no friends. That’s no fun.”
He also had no food. He was very hungry, but he had nothing to eat. One
day a garbage man came by. He offered to help the young man.
“You can collect garbage for me. Some of it is good to eat!”

He offered to help the young man.

We drink water, and we wash with it. We use it for many other things, too. We
also use water in English phrases and idioms. Let’s have fun with a couple!
If you’re in trouble, you are in hot water. Something bad may happen to you. For
example, you went to a movie instead of cleaning your room. Your mom will be
