Using V3 as an adjective. Two cooked fish.

You know about the Passive – to be + V3
Eg: Active: Someone cooks these fish every day in our restaurants.
Passive: These fish are cooked every day in our restaurants.
The tense here is Present Simple – for habits. The action happens every day.
But look at this conversation:
Chef: “Are the three fish cooked?”  One raw fish.
Kitchenhand: “Two fish are cooked and one isn’t cooked.” (raw = not cooked)
Is the chef asking about what happens to the fish every day OR does he want to know about the situation
of the three fish now? In this conversation, “cooked” is not part of a passive sentence. It is an adjective. It
means that the cooking is finished, and the fish are ready to eat.
