I can only describe the odor as a combination of urine, feces, ammonia and something rotten, In working in Law Enforcement for fiteen years along with twenty years in animal agriculture | cant recall being exposed to something that offensive other than roting human flesh | feel this is a direct result of mismanagement and poor vertiation. | feel that any animal ‘exposed to this environment will lack vigor and eventually become chronically il ‘As the Animal Control Officer conducted he investigation I walked through the store. Most of the mammals and birds in the store were very inactive. The environment ‘appeared to be taking a tole on the animals abilty to thrive. | took special note of the kitlens that Animal Control was investigating. None of the kittens were playing. They Were all very inactive lying in their cages. One cage appeared to hold about ten kittens land they lacked places to lay down. There was fecesin the kittens cages. Many of the kittens eyes were sunk in and showed signs of dehycration. There coats were all dull in ‘color and condition. Animal Control pointed out several sick kittens to store ‘management.
