 MOP for Exhaust Fan Support Steel Install

Scope of Work: Layout, Demo, Exhaust Fan Support Steel and Hangers:
1. Transfer layout provided by Celtic on 103/104 platform to encased steel above. (this
will be done off of a scissor lift as permitted by MNRR) *Layout will need to be done
off of hi-rail where above tracks.
2. Demo pockets in existing beam encasements to allow bolted connection for new steel.
(where applicable)
3. Install New Steel members into existing steel framing (United)
4. Install new hanger rods (United)
5. Install diagonal bracing (United)

Work Plan:
1. CCC/United to coordinate layout/demo/installation of steel for (1) new fan location and
(3) replacement locations. GC/CM responsible for overall project coordination, MNRR
flagman/track closures, controlled inspections, final sign-off, etc.
2. Mobilize gang boxes, scissor lift, demo equipment etc. with designated storage area on
Track 103/104 platform.
3. United Iron mobilize material & equipment: welding machine, roast about, dollies etc.
4. United Iron to store material for all (4) locations at designated area on Track 103/104
platform.
5. Move steel from storage area into proximately of work area
6. Install new channels into existing steel beam framing
7. Install new hanger rods
8. Install diagonal/kicker bracing
9. Complete all bolted connections

Schedule/Duration:

1. Layout/Demo 2-3 full shifts per location

2. Steel installation 2-3 full shifts per location

Total Duration: 3-4 weeks
