Many people have a tough time believing that God still speaks.
We’ve learned from Scripture that God spoke to His people in
ancient times and in mysterious ways, but how do we hear His
voice now? The truth is God still communicates with His people,
but He often speaks in a whisper—not to make it difficult to The United Methodist
hear Him, but to draw us close. Women are collecting

One of the missions we support is The Spanish Health Ministry, which ministers to Ext. 1013
the needs of the Hispanic community in the Kennett Square, PA area. The ministry
runs Bible studies for young and old and offers various health services for the Children & Family
community. Recently they took their yearly trip to America’s Keswick in NJ for their Ministries
annual Bible Conference. Here is just one example of how God has used this Erica Dorsch
conference to transform lives. edorsch@esumc.net
“A young widow attended a few years ago. Her husband died at 38 leaving her alone Ext. 1017
with 4 children. At the Bible Conference she came to Christ. Now she, her daughters, Financial Secretary
her mother and a nephew all make the conference a priority despite the financial Michael Corey
sacrifice. The son who struggled with depression after his father’s death is working mcorey@esumc.net
and helping his mother. The oldest daughter comes home from college to attend the Ext. 1012
conference. The whole family is being transformed!”
