Activity: Students complete the following: Classify the table of indicators as either quantitative or qualitative Copy notes into workbook from PP Visit: http://hdr.undp.org/en/countries/profiles/AUS and look at where Australia is ranked on the HDI Activity: Answer the following question in workbooks: Education is used to determine HDI. 1. Look at the Education table on the HDI website. 2. Choose two components under the ‘Education’ heading 3. Write 1 paragraph per sub-heading explaining why these categories are important measurements that contribute to Australia’s economy and to Australia’s wellbeing/ development as a nation Activity: Using the graph presented on figure 2.
