GUARANTEE CONDITIONS
Products: electric heaters for industrial applications; sensors for temperature control; steel plate and fibre
assemblies used as thermal protections and insulation.
1. Start and duration

The guarantee starts from the date of delivery of the product
The duration is 12 months
No claim is accepted if one year passes from the event requiring the intervention of the guarantee
conditions (see art. 1495 e 1497 2º comma cod. civ.).
2. Acknowledgement of the guarantee intervention and time for resolution of non conformances.
The confirmation of the intervention of the guarantee conditions is a Masterwatt S.r.l. responsibility. The
intervention of the guarantee conditions will be confirmed whenever construction defects will be
identified in the materials or if it is acknowledged that the product delivered to the customer is not
compliant with the requirements fixed in the order confirmation.
The products, for which the application of the guarantee conditions is requested, shall be sent free of
charge to Masterwatt plant.
A maximum of 20 working days will be requested from the date of acceptance of the returned product to
the date of delivery of the repaired/new product. This period does not include the normal shutdown
periods of Masterwatt plant.
The guarantee consists in the repair of the products or in the free-of-charge replacement with other
products of the same type as those described in the order confirmation. The transportation costs will be
paid by Masterwatt in case the intervention of the guarantee conditions is acknowledged. In all other
cases they shall be paid by the Customer. The transportation costs paid by Masterwatt are limited to
those required to transport the defective product from the customer plant (to which the product was
initially delivered) to Masterwatt plant and vice-versa. In no case Masterwatt will pay the transportation of
the defective product from the product final installation plant to the customer plant or to Masterwatt.
3. Inapplicability of the guarantee

The guarantee cannot be applied in the following cases:
 End of the guarantee period: the time interval between the date of the 1st delivery (as detailed in
the transportation documents) and the date of return of the defective product (as registered by
Masterwatt incoming inspection personnel) shall be lower than the values defined in art. 1495 cod.
civ. (1 year – see also point 1).
 Improper use: the product has been damaged after having been used outside the technical
specifications detailed in the order confirmation (also those which are implicit) or without respecting
the use and maintenance prescriptions of the User Manual.
 Product modification/accident: the product has been modified or altered by somebody that is not
Masterwatt S.r.l.. This includes the case of accidental modification.
 In all cases described in art. 1491 cod. civ. .
4. Declination of responsibility
In no case Masterwatt S.r.l. and its suppliers will be liable for damages (here including, without any
limitation, the damages due to loss of profits, interruption of production or other patrimonial losses), due
to the use of its products, with the exclusion of the responsibilities defined by the Italian law. This is valid
also in the cases in which Masterwatt S.r.l. or its suppliers have been advised of the possibility of such
damages to occur.
