GMCU Raises Money for area Food Shelfs
Greater Minnesota Credit Union staff raised nearly $2,000 in cash and roughly 350 pounds of food for area food shelfs in late March.
Individual departments and branches formed teams to raise money by hosting bake sales, making meals like breakfast or lunch and
selling to other employees and donating on their own. Each
dollar donated can purchase the equivalent of five (5) pounds
of food through the Second Harvest Food Bank. The winning
team of employees was called the No Names and consisted
of Marilyn Bachman, Megan Kastenbauer, Chris Randt, Cindy
Cheney, Melanie Bergstadt, Brad Nikodym and Captain Carey
Venhuizen. They raised $409 in donations!
