Share the five websites/apps that you would use in the classroom to engage and motivate your

students (from the Digital Technology Resources list assignment).

Digital technology is any instructional practice that is effectively using technology to strengthen

the student learning experience. There is phrase which goes like this Education is one of the most

important things in life.I bet every one of us has heard this phrase at one point of the time in our

lives. Tablets and smartphones in the classroom bring a number of advantage too. From greater

student engagement to an expansion of the learning environment beyond normal school hours,

gadgets can open new education doors. Digital technology curriculum enables student to become

confident and developers of digital solution through the application of information systems and

specific ways to of thinking about problem solving.

Technology can help:

Improve student achievement, improved score on standardized test, increased application and

production of knowledge for real world, increased ability for student to manage learning,

increased ability to promote achievement for special needs student. Improved basic skills.

Improved digital age literacy skills. Improved inventive thinking skills. Improved effective

communication skills.

Digital technology disadvantages

Risk of crashing, student becoming distracted, locking themselves out of the device, teacher

cannot monitor student activity. Nothing more can be a distraction for a teacher in the classroom.

Mathway is a great app for solving problems. Though I do not recommend using it.straight away

it is very useful if you find yourself stuck at any math problem. It can solve problems related to

many topic including algebra, trigonometry, calculus and statistics.

Advantage:This app help student , they solved many questions easly.

Disadvantage: student locking themselves out of the device, teacher cannot monitor student

activity.

2.Best calculuc app.

After covering every possible thing that a student needs, the only thing that remains is a

good calculator app. If you are wondering what’s wrong with the stock one, then let me

tell you that the following two apps are not simple calculator apps. They can complete
tasks which the stock calculator apps can only dream of (if they could dream).

Advantage :student can find result easly.this app is very useful for comlex problem.

Disadvantage: student locking themselves out of the device.Nothing more can be a distraction

for a teacher in the classroom.

When you open GoCong for the first time ,you are reguired to selected your profession . While

there are options such as Study , Teach, and Work . I will talk only about the Study one . When

you will select Study the next thing you will is your education level.You can choose anything

from secondary to postgraduate.Depending on which level you choose you will be taken to a

screen with the corresponding subjects.you can select more than one subject from this screen.I

selected Undergraduate followed by engineering after you are satisfied with your selection, you

will find the Next buttom of screen.

Once the initial setup is done ,you can use the apps useful learning tools.For starts , you can

create a mind map, flashcards ,slide, and even quiz, both for yourself and your friends.Note that

you will be required to download apps for each of these. Do not worry the app will redirect you

to the needed apps itself. You can discovery different groups in the app, joining which will help

you connect to different people studying the same subject as you. This also helps out as the app

allows you to teach what you know to other people. In your group. That being said ,other

members of your group can also do the same.

Algebra Touch is exactly what it sound like:an app that lets you manipulate algebraic
equations through touchscreens technology . want to isolate the variable? Touch and
drag X and Y to either side of an equation and see what you get. Want to eliminate like

terms.? Draw lines through them and they go away. Algebra Touch covers all levels of
algebra, from beginner to advanced .Prepopulate lessons or your own equations.

Advantage.Cover all level of math problems, questions . you can solve all algebra and
geometry questions.

Disadvantage:some times take the technology for granted and do not obtain a full
understanding as to why a problem is solved a certain way.

Of course ,if you can not actually be bothered to write down an equation or problem, there is

Photomath .Simply snap a picture of a math problem and the apps handwriting recognition and

camera calculator gives you an answer and step –by step solution . The app support basic

arithmetic ,fraction ,linear and quadratic equation and inequalities ,systems of equations
,trigonometry and more.

Advantage: Student can solved all problem step by step and student can understand quickly.

Disadvantage:App do the work for student so they are able to guess the correct answer.
