ABSTRACT

Importance of Implementation of Good Governance Principles at


Health Office, Keerom Regency

The success of an organization both large and small in achieving goals that are mutual
expectations, would require personnel who have the skills and skills and able to carry out
all the tasks that have been charged. The effectiveness of work is the completion of work
right at a predetermined time. An effective employee is a competent employee who is able
to complete a given job within a specified time so as to achieve goals rather than an
organization. The objectives to be achieved in this research include: a) To know the
Importance of Implementation of Good Governance Principles at Keerom District Health
Office; B) To know the effectiveness of employee work at Keerom District Health Office;
And c) To know the influence of the Implementation of Good Governance Principles on the
effectiveness of employee work at Keerom District Health Office. Writing this thesis the
author uses a type of descriptive qualitative research (mixed research) with the form of
researchasosiatif problems. Associative research aims to determine the relationship
between two or more variables with the construction of a theory that can serve to explain,
predict and control a symptom. Based on the analysis, the role of Good Governance at
Keerom District Health Office through measurement with indicators Transparency
(Transparency), Responsiveness (Responsiveness) and Accountability (Acountability) can
be concluded that the role of Good Governance is very good / effective. This can be proven
by the result of recapitulation of variable data of Good Governance Role where average
percentage acquisition get value equal to 75%. The effectiveness of employees' work,
especially those shown by employees of Keerom District Health Office through the
measurement of job satisfaction indicator, work spirit and job performance in general can
be summed up very good / effective. This can be proved by the result of data recapitulation
of employee effectiveness variable where the average percentage acquisition get value
equal to 82,78%. The results of this study also indicate that there is a significant influence
relationship between the Good Governance Role on the effectiveness of the employee's
work at the Health Department of Keerom Regency in this case seen from the Role of Good
Governance with the effectiveness of the employee's work which has been produced as
expected because it is considered very good. This means that if the Good Governance Role
shown by the government organization is good then the effectiveness of employee
employee generated will be good.
