Job Description

Designation: Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET)

The incumbent shall have up-to-date and sound knowledge of the Engineering Drawing practices, IS standards
and a sound capability to interpret and understand engineering design requirements based on Instructions
provided. The incumbent has to work on a variety of products, including but not limited to design of machine
and machine components.

Responsibilities

 Reading and Assessing design requirements.

 Measuring the performance of mechanical components, devices and engines
 Should possess good communications, interpersonal skills, good command of both written and spoken
English, and continuously developing/improving the skills.
 Highly proficient in Autodesk Inventor, Solid Words, Auto-CAD (2D & 3D) or any other computer-aided
design/modelling software
 Should be proficient in MS Office with good typing skills.
 Study, understand Engineering drawing documents or project / design requirements and execute the
work allocated with utmost perfection and proficiency.
 Prepare all necessary MIS reports related to the job allocated.
 Develop the Vendor’s list to the reputation of the organization and maintain good relationship with the
vendors.
 Analyzing and interpreting relevant data, producing and implementing designs and test procedures
 Estimate, prepare and submit the tenders or proposal to various customer’s and provide technical
assistance to them in consultation with the reporting authority.
 Follow up with the projects under execution and provide necessary technical support to the client.
 Co-ordinate Manufacturing and Service department related to the project works / machine
manufacturing works and provide technical support to all departments.
 If required; responsible for daily correspondences to the clients related to the projects in consultation
with the reporting authority.
 Discharge the duties to the satisfaction of superiors with good service attitude, patience and being
helpful.
 Other responsibilities assigned from time to time.
 Strictly maintaining the confidentiality of projects and related matters.
 Any other responsibilities, not specifically mentioned above, but as may require for the smooth
functioning of organization.
