Project #1: BOSS (Business Ordering Solutions)

BOSS is a key initiative for Target-com to build an effective supply chain network
to meet the demands of continuous business growth.BOSS is the primary demand
planningandreplenishment system for Merchandise Planning at Target-com. This
system replaces in- house BART (Business Analyst Replenishment Tool). Analysts
use this system for dailytasks related to demand planning & replenishment. BOSS
comprises of i2 Supply Chain modules such as DM (Demand Manager) and
Profiler for accurate 52 week forecasting of Target-com items, RP (Replenishment
Planner) for generating Purchase orders based on Inventory status and forecast,
and ABPP (i2 framework) for MDM and user level control in the form of Admin
screens.

Key Responsibilities:
 Handled team of 8 members with diverse technical backgrounds.
 Performed the role of Solution architect in every phase of the Business
Releases – contributed significantly in requirement gathering, functional
spec, technical spec, data modeling, construction, unit/system testing, build
creation, and post implementation support.
