I work in a neighborhood right across from this Elementary school. This school is in a
very well off upper-class neighborhood and I think that makes a difference when it
comes to these numbers. I think that parents and administration and teachers all work
closely to ensure that the students get the best education possible. I think that these
numbers impact the instructional time in a good way. There is low disciplinary problems
and the students are showing up to school. Wallin is a 5-star school and I think held to
high standards. I did observations at a low school last semester and I plan on doing my
observations for my education 203 class at Wallin. I’m interested to see the difference
between the two. It’s refreshing to see a school running smoothly, I think when all
parties are working together to ensure a difference in a child’s education it makes a
difference.
