Waste-to-energy solutions company ION EXCHANGE eyes smart city projects

For example, in India, it commissioned the first Andicos Waste-to-Energy system. This system turns waste
into energy that towns, companies and individuals can use, thus reducing their environmental footprint.
While the treated raw sewage is transformed into purified water that can be reused, the sludge generated
in the process is then combined with organic kitchen waste generated in homes and communities. This is
then used as purified water, re new able energy and organic fertiliser.
Andicos use state-of-the-art latest technology. It accounts for compact, low footprint. The system comes
as a unique single tank design.
The system has a low operating cost but delivers superior performance over conventional processes.
This system is ideal for special economic zones (SEZs,) hotels, hospitals, residential and commercial
complexes.
It allows recycling of sewage for applications like flushing, gardening, vehicle washing, cooling tower make-
up and process use.
