Information

The undersigned Assistant City Prosecutor of the


City of Tacloban accuses Lito D. Mapigilan for the
crime Frustrated Homicide in violation of Article
249 of the Revised Penal Code, committed as follows:

That on or about 3:00 o’ clock in the


afternoon of May 24, 2018, in the City
of Tacloban and within the jurisdiction
of this Honorable Court, the said
accused, allegedly with intent to kill,
repeatedly stabbed one VIC C. TIM on
the stomach with a knife, thus
performing all the acts of execution
which should have produced the crime of
homicide, as a consequence but which
nevertheless did not produce it, by
reason of some causes independent of
the will of the accused; that is the
timely and able medical assistance
rendered to said VIC C. TIM which
prevented his death.

has been committed and that the accused is probably
guilty thereof.
