Respected sir,

Subject: Requesting to vacate hostel

With due respect it is stated that I, name, studying III year in xxxx course and currently had been staying in
xxx hostel for xx months/years. Unfortunately, I am not able to stay at hostel due to my mother's health
problem. So I have decided to vacate my room and come as a day scholar from my house. The main reason
would be because my father is working outstation and there is no one there at home to take care of my
mother as she is not in a good condition to handle stuffs by herself. Since I’m staying at hostel, I had to
juggle my time to sort everything and drive back to hostel before 10.30pm, which is very hectic for me to
manage.

Hence why, I am seeking your permission to vacate my stay at hostel and come to college from home. I
request you to kindly consider my situation as I’m in a helpless state.
