COMMUNICATION COVERAGES:

 Provided communication support during the Fun Bike at Tuguegarao City,

Cagayan on August 12, 2017. The activity started at 06:45 in the morning in front
of the city hall as starting line following the route to DepEd, Linao, Tuguegarao
City Proper, Alimanao and back to Tuguegarao City Hall.
 Provided commo coverage and Police assistance together with the personnel of
Tuguegarao City Police Station during the All Saint’s/Soul’s day at Public
Cemetery and Chinese cemetery, Tuguegarao City on Nov. 1 and 2, 2017.

 Provided communication coverage to the 16K Race for PDL Valentine’s Run
sponsored by the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology 02, held at Dalan na
Pattaradday, Regional Government Center, Carig Sur, Tuguegarao City on
February 11, 2018.
 Provided communication support/coverage in the CAVRAA Meet 2018. Twenty
Four (24) personnel of this Office led by PCINSP CARMELITO B ASUNCION
Jr., Chief, RIMD were deployed to different areas of convergence during the
opening and the whole duration of the activity.

 provided communication coverage to the recently held Itjima Juhor participated

by Muslim Clerics/Imams delegates coming from Luzon and Visayas on March
10-11, 2018 at Barangay Balzain, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.

 AWARDS/MEDALS/COMMENDATIONS:

This office is a recipient of Plaque of Appreciation given by PRO2 for the invaluable
support to PRO2 during the celebration of 116th Police Service Anniversary on October 4, 2017
held at PRO2 Grandstand.

RCEO2 is also a recipient of Plaque of Appreciation given by Cagayan Valley Disaster

Risk Reduction and Management Council, OCD, RO2 for the unwavering support and
commitment during the conduct of National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on
September 27, 2017.

Personnel received eighty-six (86) awards and four hundred ninety seven (497)
commendations for the period stated above.
 RCEO2 ADMINISTRATIVE ACCOMPLISHMENTS

A. UNIT/OFFICE DESCRIPTION

This report covers the compilation of RCEO2 administrative accomplishments for the
period from January 1, 2017 to April 30, 2018.
The Regional Communications and Electronics Office 2 (RCEO2) is located in Camp
Marcelo Adduru, Caggay, Tuguegarao City. It caters the communications and electronics
requirements of Police Regional Office 2 down to five (5) Provincial Offices and one (1) City
Police Office covering ninety-four (94) CPS/MPS/PS region-wide.
RCEO2 mission as stated in our charter statement is to establish an effective police
communications network for Police Regional Office 2 and our vision is a reliable and secured
communications infrastructure and services for Police Regional Office 2 by the year 2022.
The office functions are the following: to install, operate and maintain communications
and electronics systems in support of region-wide activities; to provide communication support
to all operations of PRO2; to provide fixed communications facilities to PRO2 offices, units &
stations; to provide technical support over communications & electronics facilities of PRO2; to
provide training on Basic Radio Operations, Procedure and Preventive Maintenance to PRO2
personnel and to acquire communications equipment, supplies & materials.
At present, RCEO2 has a total strength of forty six (46) personnel composed of three (3)
PCOs, thirty nine (38) PNCOs and five (5) NUPs headed by PSUPT GARY A SAMSON as
RCEO2 Acting Chief.
The organizational structure of RCEO2 is composed of three (3) divisions namely
Regional Administrative and Resource Management Division (RARMD), Regional Facilities
Operation and Communication Center Division (RFOCCD) and Regional Installation and
Maintenance Division (RIMD).
