Worked with closely with Weiss/Manfredi Architects in
the conceptual layout and design of this 8.5 acre waterfront public park and outdoor sculpture museum.
Garden themes or ‘precincts’ of indigenous
Northwest ecosystems were incorporated into the accessible trailway with distinct 3 zones created through grading and structural constraints. These zones were Garden of the Ancients, Garden of the City, Garden of the Sound, and finally the marine Garden of the Tides.
Infrastructure was integrated into the design and
construction of the park including bridges, walls, trellises and benches as well as a state-of-the-art on- site water retention system.
