RECRUITMENT FOR CONTRACTUAL/TEMPORARY FACULTY POSITIONS

(Advt. No. 02/2018)

Applications are invited for the faculty positions, purely on contract/ temporary basis, with
Designation as Assistant Professor purely on contract/temporary basis for the period of
one year or till the end of even semester in the Departments of Computer Science &
Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics
Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Sciences and Humanities and
Management.

Duly completed application form along with all necessary documents (according to
eligilbity criteria described later in detail) compiled in a single pdf file (no image
file will be accepted) should be submitted electronically to the concerned email
addresses as listed in detailed requirement.

Important Dates

 ELIGIBILTY REQUIREMENT
The eligible and experienced personnel/professionals from academic institutions, R&D
labs and industry having Ph.D. Degree in relevant area are invited to the recruitment of
Faculty Positions purely on contract / temporary basis with consolidated salary per
month ₹54,200/- as per the following details:

Instructions
1. Candidates having Ph. D. Degree in relevant area of specialization or equivalent discipline
and having first class in the preceding degrees, may apply in the prescribed format.
2. Candidates must send the copy of all relevant documents along with duly filled
application form in single pdf file (no image file will be accepted) to the email address
mentioned above in Table – A & B on or before 8th July, 2018.
3. Candidates have to bring one copy of bio-data, all the original certificates, one set of
self attested photocopy of all certificates and two latest passport size colour
photographs at the time of interview.
4. The eligible and interested candidates are required to apply via e-mail as per Table– A
& B.
5. Vacancies indicated above are tentative and may vary.
6. The Institute reserves the right not to fill up the positions, cancel the advertisement in
whole or in part, without assigning any reason and the decision in this regard shall be
final.
7. Reservation will be given as per the Government of India norms.
8. Candidates having following will be given preference:-
 One or more degrees from NIRF (National Institute Ranking Framework) ranked
Institutes/Universities.
 Experience in NIRF (National Institute Ranking Framework) Institutes/Universities
etc.
 First Division in all Degrees/Certificates/Diploma.
 One Degree from Central Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs).
9. No TA/DA shall be given for attending the interview.

Selection Procedure

1. List of shortlisted candidates will be uploaded on the institute website for interview
schedule.
2. Interview procedure will consist of presentation (15 minutes duration with
maximum 10 slides of PPT) followed by interaction with the duly constituted
selection committee.
3. The 15 minutes presentation will consist of candidate’s academic background,
research experience, research and teaching plan for next 1 year etc.
4. Decision of the duly constituted selection committee will be final.
