Gouarne (harpsichord), directed, sets and costumes by Maurice Ohana, with,
in the lead roles, Christiane Minazzoli, Simone Rieutor, Jacques Lalande,
Pierre Meyrand, Yves Kerboul, André Rousselet, Etienne de Swarte, Pierre
Hatet, Jose Luis Ochoa, and Yves Joly’s marionettes. Conducted by Serge
Baudo.

the Lyons-Charbonnières Festival. First performance: Lyons-Charbonnières
Festival, 27 June 1956, by ‘Ballets 1956’, choreography by Maurice Béjart;
revived in Paris, Théâtre Marigny, October 1957, choreography by Maurice
Béjart, sets and costumes by Bernard Daydé.Non-staged performances of this
score were forbidden by the composer, as were concert performances of the
