 General Mathematics aims to develop learners' understanding of concepts and

techniques drawn from number and algebra, trigonometry and world geometry,
sequences, finance, networks and decision mathematics and statistics, in order to solve
applied problems.

 Research comprises "creative and systematic work undertaken to increase the stock
of knowledge, including knowledge of humans, culture and society, and the use of this stock
of knowledge to devise new applications. It is used to establish or confirm facts, reaffirm the
results of previous work, solve new or existing problems, support theorems, or develop
new theories.

 Earth and Life Science is a scientific research that wide-ranging and relevant to current
issues. Earth and life sciences cover all aspects of life on earth such as the complex and
dynamic processes in solid earth, the oceans, the atmosphere, the natural world and
organisms, including humans.
 Filipino subject is part of the school curriculum in the Philippines. This is where the students
would learn all about the Filipino language (the Philippines national language). In this
subject, they will study about how to speak and write the Filipino language well.
Good grammar, correct sentence formation, correct pronunciation, vocabulary words, etc.
would be part of their lessons.

 Oral communication is the process of expressing information or ideas by word of

 Media Technology is an interdisciplinary field that includes technology, social sciences


and humanities. It covers areas such as web design, photography, film and interaction
design. The subject has both practical and theoretical aspects.

 Personal development is a lifelong process. It is a way for people to assess their skills
and qualities, consider their aims in life and set goals in order to realize and maximize
their potential.

 Physical education is a course taught in school that focuses on developing physical


fitness and the ability to perform and enjoy day-to-day physical activities with ease.

 Theology is the study of religion, plain and simple. Of course, religion isn't simple,
so theology covers a lot of subjects, like rituals, divine beings, the history of religions,
and the concept of religious truth

 General chemistry is a course often taught at the high school and introductory
university level. It is intended to serve as a broad introduction to a variety of concepts
in chemistry and is widely taught.
 Precalculus is a course that includes algebra and trigonometry at a level which is
designed to prepare students for the study of calculus. Schools often distinguish
between algebra and trigonometry as two separate parts of the coursework.

 Statistics Probability, the branches of mathematics concerned with the laws governing
random events, including the collection, analysis, interpretation, and display of numerical
data.

 Political culture is the set of attitudes, beliefs, and sentiments which give order and
meaning to a political process and which provide the underlying assumptions and rules
that govern behavior in the political system. It encompasses both the political ideals and
the operating norms of a polity.

 Philosophy is the study of general and fundamental problems concerning matters such
as existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind, and language. Philosophical methods
include questioning, critical discussion, rational argument, and systematic presentation.

 Physical Science is concerned with nonliving matter, energy, and


the physical properties of the universe, such as physics, chemistry, astronomy, and

 Reading and writing skills allow students to seek out information, explore subjects in-
depth and gain a deeper understanding of the world around them. When they
cannot read well, they become discouraged and frustrated by school.

 Pagbasa at Pagsulat focused on developing critical reading skills and logical writing in
Filipino as a tool for learning and expression in various fields of study.

 ICT are defined, for the purposes of this primer, as a “diverse set of technological tools
and resources used to communicate, and to create, disseminate, store, and manage
information.

 Basic Calculus is the study of the definition, properties, and applications of the
derivative of a function. The process of finding the derivative is called differentiation.

 General Biology is the study of living things. It encompasses the cellular basis of living
things, the energy metabolism that underlies the activities of life, and the genetic basis
for inheritance in organisms. Biology also includes the study of evolutionary relationships
among organisms and the diversity of life on Earth.
