COORDINATION (UNDAC)

• Established in 1993 by the OCHA

• UNDAC is a stand-by team of disaster


management professionals

• UNDAC can be deployed within hours to


carry out rapid assessment and to support
national authorities and/or UN Resident
Coordinator to coordinate international
