Last Monday (July 2, 2018), we have a group activity and a brief discussion about
communication. And I learned in this activity that communicating face to face or transactional process is
better than linear process. Because in transactional process we can easily express our thoughts and
emotions to the receiver and the receiver can see the movement on how the sender express his/her
actions.

For me, this group activity will help me to build a good relationship with my new groupmates.
Because as a freshmen student, we don't know yet the attitude of everyone. So we need an activity that
will help us to know each other to have a long lasting relationship.

Last Monday (July 2, 2018), we have a group activity and a brief discussion about
communication. We divided in four groups where I belong to group three. The activity of group one and
two is all about linear process while in a group three and four is all about transactional process. In our
assigned task, theirs a client that has a problem in her globe plan. So she called our telecommunication
to solve her problem. After discussing her problem to our receptionist, the receptionist tell it to the
president where the president conduct a meeting to the board member to give a solution to the problem
that our client has experiencing. At the end of the presentation of every group, Maam Geraldine
discussed a little information about communication because we run out of time. And I learned in this
activity that communicating face to face or transactional process is better than linear process. Because in
transactional process we can easily express our thoughts and emotions to the receiver and the receiver
can see the movement on how the sender express his/her actions. But in the other side, you don't have
time to think on what are you going to say to the receiver.

For me, this group activity will help me to build a good relationship with my new groupmates.
Because as a freshmen student, we don't know yet the attitude of everyone. So we need an activity that
will help us to know each other to have a long lasting relationship. Also this activity will help me to have
a good communication skills in front of others as a future teacher and speaker.

Reflection No. 2: July 16, 2018

In our meeting last thursday (July 11, 2018), we tackled about the parts of the brain and why do we need
to communicate with ethics. In this discussion I learned that a good communicator should know how
communicate with the proper ethics for you to be respected. One of the example of the person that
communicate unethically is Mr. Rodrigo Duterte, our president. Being the president of the Philippines, he
must act professionally in his actions and the way he speak for being a role model of our society. But
rather, he is using a vulgar words that may affect his presidential performance in our society. If he want
us to be good followers, he must act first as a good listener and follower too.

Ethics of Communication is important in every organization. I think, studying this topic will help me to be
more careful about the words that Im going to say especially for my future students. As a future
educators, we need to be a good role model for our student because in what the children sees in their
eyes, he imitates it. So let's be aware of our actions where they can't bring the negative attitude in their
present and future life.
