Developed the following:

 The 1st Annual Egyptian e-learning survey, this Survey is designed to collect data about
existing e-learning (Internet Based including Blended Learning) efforts in Egypt. Once
data is collected (with your input and support), we intend to summarize and analyze
these efforts and share the results in a report with all involved / participants in the e-
learning arena to help all of us to know what is going-on and share our success, lessons
learned and highlight key challenges that need to be addressed by the e-learning
community.
 Provide an overview and develop a forum from the 1st conference in 2002-date of the
current available applications and objects for e-Learning at various levels: Government,
NGOs, Private Sector, Educational institutes and other stakeholders
 The inauguration of the NGO IT2learn:

One of the major issues in the conference is to sponsor key note speakers to attend the
conference which requires sponsors, more vendors. It is essential that in order to develop the
conference and to compete with other conferences that AUC should sponsor part of the
conference activities and assistance in registration and infrastructure. The conference was totally
self financed by speakers, attendees and exhibits to the conference. The selection of the AUC
New Cairo Campus resulted in higher budget expenses, cost overrun and support service, and
registration and logistics problems. The recent events in the region has reduced the number of
potential speakers to come and the location might be a consideration as well
