ONCLUSION & FUTURE WORK

In this dissertation work we have demonstrate the concept of metamaterial. The work was
divided into two part. In the first part we were designed an antenna and a metamaterial unit cell.
In the second part we coupled the SRR with the antenna.

Here we have seen that if SRR is top loaded on the antenna it improves the return loss parameter
of the antenna. But if the SRR is loaded slightly blow from the top of the antenna it creates
multiple bands in the antenna. We have also fabricated the antenna eith SRR and found the good
agreement between theoretical and simulated results.

In future we can control the gain, bandwidth etc of the antenna using metamaterials.
