Information to Authors

The editorial board of Journal of Institute of Engineering welcomes original manuscripts from all domains of
engineering and natural sciences that are not published elsewhere. The manuscripts are subjected to peer
review process; and edited for clarity, consistency and uniformity of the journal style. Papers must be in MS
Word in Times New Roman with A4 paper size. The title of papers must be centered with 16 point and bold
letters with capitalizing the first letter of each main word. All text must be justified. Full name of the author(s)
and institutional address with the email of corresponding author must be there under the title as follows:

Abstract: The abstract should not exceed 250 words in 10.5 point. It should briefly summarize the essence of
the paper and address the following areas without using subsections: Objective - briefly state the problem or
issue addressed in language accessible to a general scientific audience. Method - briefly summarize the
technological innovation or method used to address the problem. Results - provide a short statement of the
results and findings. Conclusions - give brief concluding remarks on your outcomes. Detailed discussion of all
these aspects should be provided in the main body of the paper.

Key words: Minimum 3 to maximum 6 key words separated by commas

1. Introduction
The organization of the body of the paper is at the authors’ discretion, and may differ according to the
research areas; the only required sections are Introduction, Literature, Methods/ Procedures, Results,
Conclusion and References. (Acknowledgement and Appendices are optional). Headings and
subheadings, numbered in numerals, should be in 12 and 11 point respectively with bold-faced. All the
texts must be in normal 11 point. References cited in the text should be listed in alphabetical order with
numerals at the end. The references in the text should be cited as [11], [1, 6, 9]. The tables and figures
should be clearly marked: each table with self-explanatory notes on the top, and each figure with caption
at the bottom. Equations should be written in Equation Editor/Math Type, numbered consecutively
beginning with (1) throughout the paper. The number should be enclosed in parenthesis and set flush right
in the column on the same line of the equation. Pictures should be in JPEG format. The rest of the
possible headings/subheadings could be (though not restricted): 2. Literature 3. Model
Formulation 4. Methods 4.1 Hamilton Method 4.2 Huntington Method 5. Results and
Discussion 6. Conclusion
