About the Training Course: A training, for strengthening capacities of key youth actors

A seven days training course, for strengthening capacities of key youth actors.

BLINK will be the hosting organization of the training in Prishtina. Through this activity it is foreseen to
break the prejudices and the disinformation for the youngsters from RYCO Contracting Parties -
Kosovo*, Montenegro and Serbia, for Kosovo, as a safety and attractive place, with the people that
want to cooperate and to be integrated. In 7 days training course for strengthening capacities on
which will participate 30 youngsters, from 3 places, 10 from Montenegro (5F+5M), 10 from Serbia
(5F+5M), and 10 Kosovo (5F+5M). The criteria of age 20-30 years old, is defined because of
methodology of work and because the project want to improve this target that will work (inspiring
others) in the next stages of the project. 15 of them will be youth worker that are involved/working/
volunteering/ in minority issues. This criterion is decided because of the main aim of the project.

Social exclusion features similar characteristics in many RYCO Contracting Parties - Albania, Bosnia
and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia and is determined by a multi-layer
deprivation of basic human rights.

On the other side, young people who are not excluded, one can recognize difficulties in detecting
exclusion in their own communities and to show empathy to their peers with fewer opportunities
leading to the creation of invisible borders in societies.

The project aims to make a contribution to inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities and
fostering the quality of support structures for young people by enhancing the competences of those
working with marginalized youth. Furthermore, the project aims to strengthen civil society by facilitating
the integration and active participation of young people through an exchange of best practices in order
to contribute to intercultural dialogue, mutual understanding and tolerance among young people.

10 participants per organization (5 females + 5 males)

Participants will be youth workers, youth leaders and volunteers familiar with the social exclusion
concept and from NGOs which want to undertake more concrete activities to work in the future, to
reduce discrimination, nationalism and hate speech.

One of the criteria is high motivations and human rights orientation of participants, sensitive to the
issue and with a positive attitude about others.

 Also it is really good if we have in group and some youngsters familiar with non-formal
methodology.

Accommodation______________________________________________

Venue will be announced on a near future to selected participants. The accommodation will be on a 3
or 4 star hotel. Participants will be accommodated in double or triple rooms. The participants will be
accommodated with people of other RYCO Contracting Parties - Kosovo, Montenegro and Serbia then
their origin in order to facilitate group-building and team spirit. Meals will be served at the hotel
restaurant. Free wireless Internet will be provided at the hotel.

Travel cost__________________________________________
Travelling will be reimbursed up until the maximum amount allowed per person (see below),
from your place to Prishtina, Kosovo. We will reimburse travel costs as listed below on the basis of
the cheapest possibilities, e.g. return bus tickets. During the training course and the receipt of all
ORIGINAL tickets, bills, invoices, receipts.

Missing tickets will not be reimbursed. Please, keep the original tickets, in order to get money back.

If the value of a return ticket by bus is more than the approved budget, the project will
reimburse up to the amounts written on the budget lines.

What to prepare and bring _____________________________________________________

 Insurance - We suggest you to buy insurance in order to be safe in case of emergency. Activities
of the project are safe, venue also. However, insurance costs are not covered by the project costs.

 About your NGO - Each organization is kindly requested to prepare a short video (max up to 3
min) where you introduce your organization, objectives, main area of activity and if you want your
experience with BLINK NGO.
 To bring necessary things for representing your living place, because we will have intercultural
evenings and this mean that you will have your own space (around 10 min max) to present your
traditions, cultures or whatever you think represents you. Try to make something interactive for
people, make them participate, try to show culture but please, don't play long videos from YouTube
because this is something we can do at home, we would like to really experience your place in live
;-)

 And for sure, don't forget to bring food & drinks from your regions!!

How to come to Prishtina _________________

In Prishtina we have the main bus station. When you arrive at the Bus station in Prishtina, you should
walk approximately 200 meters on direction of main Hospital where there is a square called Flag
Square.

Further information will be provided for the selected participants.
