DIPI is governed by two separate entities namely a Board of Management led by an Executive Director, and a Science
Steering Board. The Science Steering Board determines scientific agenda, strategy, and research priority. It consists of
notable scientists from universities, research institutions, members of AIPI, and representative of policy makers. The
governing board reports to and is evaluated by the AIPI General Assembly.
