Subject: Invitation of applications for temporary appointment on the post of Assistant
Professor in IIIT, Bhopal.
Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Bhopal is a Premiere National Institute
working under mentorship of MANIT, Bhopal. Applications from eligible candidates are invited
for selection to the under-mentioned posts in IIIT, Bhopal for appointment on purely temporary
basis:

(A) Assistant Professor (Computer Science and Information Technology):

Essential Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering or Information
Technology with first class or with CGPA of 6.5 or above in 10 point scale and ME/M.Tech. in
relevant discipline with first class or with CGPA of 6.5 or above in 10 point scale and Ph.D. in
relevant discipline from reputed University/Institution.
Desirable: Quality publications in SCI/SCIE/Scopus Index Journals.
Emoluments: Rs. 70000/- per month consolidated.
Contract period: 11 months from July 2018.
Age: not above 35 Years. Relaxable by five years in case of SC/ST and three years in case of
OBC candidates.
Interview date: Thursday 07/06/2018 10:00 AM at Institute Committee room, Director’s office,
First Floor, Main Administrative Building, MANIT Campus, Bhopal-462003.
(B) Assistant Professor (Electronics and Communication Engineering):
Essential Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering with first
class or with CGPA of 6.5 or above in 10 point scale and ME/M.Tech. in relevant discipline
with first class or with CGPA of 6.5 or above in 10 point scale and Ph.D. in relevant discipline
from reputed University/Institution.
Desirable: Quality publications in SCI/SCIE/Scopus Index Journals.
Emoluments: Rs. 70000/- per month consolidated. No other allowance to be allowed.
Contract period: 11 months from July 2018.
Age: not above 35 Years. Relaxable by five years in case of SC/ST and three years in case of
OBC candidates.

Notes:
1. Candidates must submit scanned copy of filled up application form in enclosed proforma to e-
mail id arest@manit.ac.in alongwith enclosures latest by 22nd May 2018. Only short listed
candidates shall be called for Interview. List of shortlisted candidates shall be uploaded on
Institute website www.iiitbhopal.co.in and www.manit.ac.in. No separate communication shall
be sent.
2. Candidates called for Interview must bring originals and one photo copy of all testimonials for
verification at the time of Interview.
3. Decision of the Selection Committee shall be final in the matter of selection.
4. No TA/DA will be allowed for attending the Interview.
