1. Pick Up & Make Up 17 ½" BHA as Follows:
- 17 ½" R.R Rock Bit (Manf. Smith, Type: SDGHC, S/N: RJ4179, Nozzles: 3 X 18/32" + 1 X 16/32").
- Bit Sub with TOTCO Seat and Float Valve.
- 1 X 9 ½" DC.
- 17 ⅜" String Roller Reamer (S/N: GU 1347).
- 1 X 9 ½" DC.
- X-Over 7 ⅝" Reg (Pin) X 6 ⅝" Reg (Box).
- 8 X 8 ¼" DC (Stand Same Back on Derrick).
- 8" Drilling Jar (S/N: 800-0008).
- 2 X 8 ¼" DC.
- X-Over 6 ⅝" Reg (Pin) X 4 ½" IF (Box).
- 15 X 5” HWDP (Stand Same Back on Derrick).
2. Start RIH, Tag Bottom (Report to Company Man, Previous Shoe @ Depth +/- 35 ft).
3. Start Drilling to Depth (+/- 1670 ft) with the Following Parameters:
Drilling will be: Drilling one Stand 5”HWDP & Substitute same with one Stand D/C’s.
 RPM: 30-40 till String Reamer Pass Conductor Pipe (+/- 80 ft).
 Increase RPM gradually till 90-120 after Reamer Pass.
 WOB 5 by 5 ending with 20 klb’s Depend on ROP
 GPM 150 - Avoid Washout Around C.P.
 Increase GPM Gradually Depend on Losses and Shale Shakers Handling as per Following Table:

 Wash & Ream (once or Twice) Every Connection depends on ROP.


 Adjust RPM Depend on Vibration, Torque.
 Sweep Hole with Hi Viscous Pills Periodically if Hole Dictate.
 Record Weight Below & Above Jar on Martin Decker.

1. Continue Drilling 17 ½” Hole to +/- 1670 ft (Confirm with Company Man).
- Drilling Parameters: (RPM: 120, WOB: 20 klb’s, GPM: 750).
- Drilling Sheet Every 12 Hours to Company Man.
2. Check Before Tripping POOH the Following:
- Prepare Rig Floor For Trip Out, Rig Tong's Dies, Rotary Slips, and TIW Valve.
- Prepare Drifted, Measured Joint Drill Pipe On Catwalk.
- Prepare Pipe Tally & Mud Log Before Tripping For Company Man.
3. Swept Hole With 50 BBl's Hi-Vis-Pill, Observe Shakers (Mud Engineer to Witness).
- Moving String Wash UP & Ream Down.
4. Record all Parameters before POOH:
- Pressure, Mud Weight in/out, Viscosity in/out.
- P/U Wt, S/O Wt, Rotating Weight with Pump on (50 SPM) & Pump off.
- Prepare TOTCO Single Shot Survey.
5. Spot on Bottom 200 BBl's Hi-Vis-Pill 3 % Diesel, Keep 10 BBL’s inside String.
6. Drop TOTCO, Stop Pumps, Flow Check, Report to Company Man Losses / Gain.
7. Start POOH to Surface.
- Operate Trip Tank Continuously during Tripping out.
- Report to Company Man Losses / Gain or well may be swabbed.
- Max over pull 15-20 Klb’s if No Success, Use Pump out with 30-50 SPM.
- If No Success, Back Ream 30-100 RPM, Observe Torque.
- Ensure Free Across Slips Area.
8. Break out Rock Bit & L/D Same.
- Clean & Bring Bit to make Bit Dullness.
- Observe if Stabs & Bit Balled or not, Take Photos.
9. L/D 1 X 9 ½" DC, 17 ⅜" String Roller Reamer, 1 X 9 ½" DC, X-Over, 2 X 8 ¼" DC.
10. Call SDF Casing Before L/D to Prepare for R/U.
11. R/U SDF Power Tong, Power Unit & Handling Equipment.
12. Next Plan will be RIH with 13 ⅜” Casing.

Problem Solving like Flow Line Plug or Over Flow


1. Use Flow Line Jetting Line during Connections all the Time.
2. If there is a lot of Cutting on Shale Shakers, Circulate Bottom-Up for Hole Cleaning.
3. Use High Pressure Wash Guns on Shale Shakers all the Time.

Offline Operations
Assistant Driller
1. Measure Float Shoe, Float Collar Length for 13 ⅜" Casing.
2. Prepare 52 JT's X 13 ⅜" Casing (Clean, Drift, Measure from End to End, Prepare Tally).
3. Check for Top Plug, and Bottom Plug.
4. Test Float Collar with Water.
5. Prepare Wellhead (Check Bolts, Rings, and Measure Lengths).
6. Measure Lengths for Wellhead (Braden Head & Tubing Head Spool).
So Tool Pusher Should Check Length of Drilling Riser Spool for Bop for Next Phase.

Derrick man
1. Handover Sheet between Derrick men.
2. Mud Record, Volumes, Water Trucks every 6 HR’s to Company Man.
3. Measure Weight, Viscosity, and Losses Every 0.5 HR's on Mud System.
4. Sign Every Water Ticket before Coming to me.

Senior Mechanic:
1. Report Last Drawdown Test for Koomey Unit.
2. Check Remotely Operated Control Panels (On Rig Floor and Beside STP Caravan).
3. Check all Accumulator Bottles Pre-Charge Pressure +/- 1000 psi.
4. Perform Drawdown Test as Per Tanmia Procedures.

 Roustabouts:
 Use Protector Every Joint & After M/U Joint Don't Stand On Catwalk.
 Casing Remain on Ground 8 JT’s.
 Floormen:
 Cover Every Joint - Important.
 Safety Clamp for First 10/15 JT’s.
 Grease @ Pin Thread.
 Don't Stand Between Set Back Area & Casing.
 Wear Helmet With Its Belt.
 Driller:
 Fill Casing with High Pressure Hose One by One.
 Break Circulation after Joint No. 20 W/ 3, 5, 7 BPM (Pressure, P/U, Slack off, losses).
 IF Any Obstruction Found More Than 20 KLb's Use Circulating Head.
 Wash Down Last 1/2 Joints With Circulating Head.
 SDF Operator:
 13 ⅜" Casing Make Up Torque With Respect To Triangle. 13,380 lb.ft.
 Ensure Number of Dies in Slips (18) and Safety Clamp (16).
 Mud Logger & Derrick:
 Recording Losses While RIH & CIRC.

 Good Communication between Stabber, Driller and SDF Operator.


 Permit to Work, Risk Assessment before Job Start.

13 ⅜" Casing Running Procedure

1. Pre Job Safety Meeting.

2. Before Running Casing, Check Numbers in Middle of Casing Joint, also Check Circulating Head.

3. R/U SDF Power Tong, Power Unit & Handling Equipment.

4. P/U & M/U Shoe Track as Follow: Float Shoe, 2 JT’s Casing (68 #, k-55, BTC), and Float Collar.

5. Test Same For Flow / Back Flow.

6. Follow Up Casing Tally (Copies Attached).

7. RIH W/ 13 ⅜" Casing (Total JT’s Will Be Run 44).

8. Call SLB Cement Before @ JT No 30; Prepare Forklift For Mix Fluid on Mud System.

9. Break Circulation @ JT No 20.

10. Wash Down Last Joint With Circulating Head.

11. Tag on BTM with 10-15 Klb, Ensure BTM Many Times Otherwise P/U Next Joint for Tag.

12. Circ. Complete Cycle Mean While R/D SDF Handling Equipment & changed TDS Links.

13. Load Plugs In Cement Head (This For Co. Man).

14. R/D Circulating Head.

15. R/U Cement Head & Cement Surface Lines.

16. Flush line W/ 5 BBL Water, P/T same to 3000 psi.

17. Continue Circulation Meanwhile Prepared Mix Fluid For Lead & Tail Slurry.

18. Safety Meeting.

19. Next Plan will be Perform 13 ⅜" Cement Operation.

13 ⅜" Cement Job Management Plan


 SLB Cementer:
1. Good Contact between SLB Cementer Operator & Derrick man.
2. One Man on Shale Shaker all the Time to Check Return & Contact with BJ Operator on Unit.
3. Good Selection for Mix Fluid Tank (Less Dead Volume & Bypass valve exist).
4. Ensure that there is 5 bbl. Excess over Calculated Volumes for Filling Lines to SLB unit.
5. Good Observation for PRD Plot (Pressure, Rate, Density) While Pumping.
6. Do not over Exceed Fracture Pressure 300 Psi While Pumping (10.5-Mwt) *0.052*CP

 Derrick man:
1. Fresh Water: 50 BBL’s.
2. Mix Fluid from Reserve #1A: 153 BBL’s.
3. Mix Fluid from Slug: 29 BBL’s.

 Mud Engineer:
1. Check Weight of Lead Slurry (12.5 ppg) & Tail slurry (15.8 ppg).
2. Check Take 2 Samples for Each Slurry & Write on Same.
3. While Pumping: Return will be on Suction, intermediate Tanks first Then fill other intermediate Tanks.
4. While Displacement: Return will be on Suction.

 Mud Engineer & Mud Logger:


1. Calculate Losses While Pumping Spacer, Lead & Tail.
2. Calculate Losses While Lead Pass Shoe Till Finished Displacement (After 23 BBL's Tail).
3. After Finish Cement Job, Calculate Total Losses (310 BBL's Pumped, 218 BBL's Displacement).
4. Expected BBL's of Cement on Surface 69 BBL's Cement. (Observe Return after 149 BBL’s).
5. For Spacer & Cement appear on Shale Shakers, Dump to Water Waste Pit through Dump Line.
6. Derrick Man Prepare half Salt Water Stand by Truck to be beside Cement Unit.

 Displacement Recommendations:
1. Suck from Separate Tank.
2. Return on another one.
3. Tank Equipped with sensor [Derrick Measurement / Rig Sensor / Mud Logging Sensor].

1. Permit to Work, Risk Assessment before Job Start.
2. R/U Cement Head, Flush line W/ 5 BBL Water, P/T same to 3000 psi.
3. Continue Circulation Meanwhile Prepared Mix Fluid For Lead & Tail Slurry
4. Pre Job Safety Meeting With all Concerned Personnel on Rig site.
5. Pump 50 BBL's Water As spacer.
6. Released Bottom Plug (Observe Flag Sign & Return Same to Original Position).
7. Pump 190 BBL's 12.5 ppg Lead slurry.
8. Pump 265 BBL's 15.8 ppg Tail slurry.
9. Released Top Plug (Observe Flag Sign).
10. Displace with Mud 385 BBL's (5 BBL's by Cmt Unit & 380 BBL's by Rig Pump) (Strokes 3235).
N.B: Total Displacement 385 bbl.’s.
N.B: Pump out Put = 0.119 bbl. /stoke
N.B: Do not over displace more than half of shoe track volume (6 BBL's).
Expected BBL's on Surface 69 BBL's Cement. (Observe Return after 149 BBL’s).

11. Bump top plug with 500 psi more than final displacement pressure (FDP).
12. Bleed off Pressure, Break the line and check return to the Dowell unit
After Slurry Thickening Time (50 BC), Check Surface Samples.

1. L/D Cement Head, Cement Lines.

2. Land Casing On Bottom.

3. Disconnect Flow line & Rough Cut 20", 13 ⅜'' Casing & L/D Cut off Joint's.

4. IF We Need for Top Job, Perform by Cement Unit (Volume Pumped will be Checked with Co. Man).

5. Final Rough Cut 20'' Casing By Rig Welder 65" Below Cellar G.L & L/D Cut Off Joint.

6. Centralize 13 ⅜'' Casing With Rotary Inside 20'' Stove Pipe By Welding Steel Plates.

7. Final Cut 13 ⅜" Casing 42" Below Cellar G.L by POSS Cold Cutter.

8. Weld Braden Head 13 ⅜" X 13 ⅝” X 5 M, Tested same to 300 psi by Nitrogen.

9. Prepare for Ring BX-160 [Rig to Supply] to be put between Braden Head & DSA.

10. Prepare for Stubs.

11. N/U 13 ⅝'' - 10000 Psi BOP's Stack & Perform BOP's Function Test.

12. Next Plan will be BOP Test.

BOP Test Using Cement Unit (Test Plug)


1. P/U & M/U FMC 13 ⅝'' Test Plug “ pin-down / box up”, 1 Stand 5" HWDP, Run on 5'' D/P "Grade S".

2. Check FMC 13 ⅝'' Test Plug Seal, Open Ports.

3. RIH Set Same in Place "+/- 36.5 Ft below Rotary Table" – inform Co. Man about actual length.

4. Don’t forget to open outlet valve in Braden Head.

5. Perform Test by Cement Unit through D/P.

6. Bop Test As Follows:

- P/T Annular Bop 300 Psi X 5 Min & 2500 Psi X 10 Min against Manual Valve on Kill, Choke Line.

- P/T 5'' Upper Pipe Rams 300 Psi X 5 Min & 3000 Psi X 10 Min Against HCR Valve on Kill, Choke Line.

- P/T Choke Manifold Master Valve 300 Psi X 5 Min & 3000 Psi X 10 Min.

- P/T Choke Manifold Remote Hydraulic Valve 300 Psi X 5 Min & 3000 Psi X 10 Min.

7. Remove Landing String 5”D/P from Test Plug.

- P/T Blind Ram 300 Psi X 5 Min & 3000 Psi X 10 Min.

8. P/U 5'' D/P "Grade S", Screw in FMC 13 ⅝'' Test Plug, Latched ok.

9. Retrieve FMC 13 ⅝'' Test Plug, L/D same.

10. Check for Damage Seal, Visual inspection & Store it.

11. Don’t forget to close outlet valve in Braden Head.

12. Perform Offline Test for Choke Manifold Manual Valves Provided by Chart.

13. Install Wear Bushing.

14. Check Cement Surface Samples Before RIH.

15. Next Plan will be RIH with 12 ¼" Drlg Assy.

Any Leak Observed


1. Bleed off Pressure.
2. Repair the Leak.
3. Repeat the Test.
