 Executive Summary

The internship report is based on the “Corporate Social Responsibility Practices of Export
Import Bank of Bangladesh Limited”. In the beginning of the report the scope, origin,
objectives, methodology, limitations are discussed. The main objective of this report is To know
about the CSR activities of Export Import Bank of Bangladesh Limited. Primary sources of data
are discussion with the officers and staffs and work experience in different desk. The secondary
data is collected from the annual report, different text books and several web pages. The scope of
this report is limited to the CSR activities of Exim Bank Limited. In spite of some limitations
such as lack of adequate information, lack of proper experience, I have tried my best to make this
report as informative as possible.

The overview of Export Import Bank of Bangladesh Limited is given in this report. It covers the
origin of the bank, organizational profile and present situation of the bank. The bank is
established in 1999. The bank has various products and services for its customers. It has a huge
number of clients for different types of products. Export Import Bank of Bangladesh Limited. A
group of highly qualified and successful entrepreneurs joined their hands with the founder
chairman to materialize his dream. Indeed, all of them proved themselves in their respective
business as most successful star with their endeavor, intelligence, hard working and talent
entrepreneurship.

In this report the CSR activities of Export Import Bank of Bangladesh Limited. The report also
The mainstream CSR activities that are carried out through this foundation are: Healthcare
service, Scholarship program for brilliant poor student, Education Promotion Scheme, Helping
people affected by natural calamities, Helping people in slum areas, Donation to educational
institutions to setup computer lab and Beautification of Dhaka City. At least 2% of our annual
profit of every year is put aside for the foundation to conduct Corporate Social
Responsibilities(CSR) activities.

In the ending, the findings and conclusions are discussed. In findings it is reviewed that the
position about their feeling of benefits of doing CSR, to prepare this information for the bank’
annual/sustainability reports. Acceptance of responsibility for the social consequences of the
active participation of communities impacted by company activities and the public reporting of
company policies and performance in the economic, environmental and social arenas. Export
Import Bank of Bangladesh Limited is dedicated itself towards the welfare of the society.
Although Export Import Bank of Bangladesh Limited has not formed a strong separated
foundation but it does much social-welfare activities.
