ABSTRACT
Method: This research used descriptive method with cross sectional approach. Data
collection techniques used was total sampling technique and secondary data
collected from medical records to get a picture of people with diabetes mellitus type
II. Data analysis was done by determining percentage and attached in tabular form.
Result: The results showed there were 53 cases of diabetes mellitus type II. Most
of them occurred in the age group of 45-54 years with the number of 18 patients
(34%), the highest number of women as many as 39 patients (73.6%) measurement
results of BMI 25.0-29.9 (Obesity I) as many as 16 patients 30.2%).
Conclusion: The data above shows that the description of type II diabetes mellitus
are as many as 53 patients. The highest number of patients in the age group of 45-
54 years, based on sex it is woman as the most and most BMI is 25.0-29.9 (Obesity
I).
