SECTION 4 – FIRST AID MEASURES

Eye contact : If this chemical contacts the eyes, immediately wash the eyes with large
amounts of water, occasionally lifting the lower and upper lids. Get medical attention
immediately. Contact lenses should not be worn when working with this chemical.

Skin contact : Rinse with plenty of water.

Ingestion : Call a doctor who will decide whether a stomach washout is necessary.
Inhalation : Move the affected person away from the contaminated area and into the fresh
air. Make affected person rest. If necessary seek medical advice.

Personal precautions : Wear appropriate gloves, dust respirator if long exposure to spill is necessary.
Environmental precautions : Avoid large amounts to discharge into drains.
Methods for cleaning up : Recover the product by vacuuming / shoveling or sweeping. Wet spills is slippery.
Use of water wash down is recommended.

SECTION 7 – HANDLING AND STORAGE

Handling : Use with adequate ventilation. Minimize dust generation and accumulation. Avoid
breathing vapors from heated material. Avoid contact with eyes and inhalation of dust..
Keep container tightly closed. Keep from contact with moist air and steam. Prevent the
build – up of electrostatic charge. Do NOT use compressed air to transfer, discharge
or transport the product.

Storage : Store in a cool dry place away from acids and incompatible materials. Stable
under normal storage conditions. Store in a tightly closed container and protected from
moisture.

– Incompatible products : Strong oxidizing agents, acids, iodine, bases.


– Packaging : Product should be stored in the original packaging.
– Packaging materials : Water – resistant materials are recommended.

Personal protective equipment

Respiratory Protection : Minimize dispersal of dust into the air. Use respirator when using this product and
when general ventilation is not adequate to control the dust level below applicable
exposure limit or when dust causes irritation or discomfort.

Hand protection : Wear impermeable gloves to protect from skin exposure.

Eye protection : Use a suitable eye goggles and face shield . Wear safety glasses with side shields or
goggles to avoid contact with eyes. In extremely dusty environments and unpredictable
work area, wear well tight –fitting goggles to avoid eye irritation or injury. Contact
lenses should not be worn when handling powder materials.

Skin protection : Wear impervious clothing including boots, gloves, lab coat, apron or coveralls as
appropriate to prevent skin contact. . Use precautionary measures to avoid creating
dust when removing or laundering clothing. The worker should wash daily at the end of
each work shift.

Other protecting equipment : .Eyewash fountains and deluge shower should be provided in areas where there is
any possibility that the workers could be exposed to the substances..

Care must be consider to prevent the contamination of the environment from the use of this product. It is the user’s
responsibility to dispose of unused material, residues and containers in compliance with all relevant local, state and federal laws
and regulations regarding treatment, storage and disposal for hazardous and non-hazardous wastes.

Disposal Methods : As a non-hazardous waste, must be disposed of in accordance to local and federal
regulations.

Container Disposal : Recommend crushing, puncturing or other means to prevent unauthorized recycling of
used containers. Dispose of in a licensed landfill.
