Temporary Power plan to Operate Chillers at AHHC 

Please find below Single Line Diagram of our temporary power plan for operating chillers while we 
replace the old MCC with new one. 

 
 

 
Following sequence of steps to be followed for replacing old MCC with new one. 

a) Shut down of transformer T354 secondary side (Low voltage side) to allow removal of old MCC 
 

 
 

 
 b) After the power shut down from secondary side of Transformer T‐354, disconnect the power 
cables from OLD MCC (To be replaced with new MCC @ same location). 

 
 
  
 

 
 c) Re‐route the cables coming from transformer T‐354 to temporary MCC in order to power up 
temporary MCC. Please refer to below picture of proposed temporary location of MCC.

 d) Install new cables or relocate existing MV cable & control cables going to MTB of Chiller unit 
from temporary MCC installed outside the building. 

 
 

 
e) Connect & terminate the MV cable & control cables coming from Chiller unit to temporary MCC 
to setup power & controls for chillers.

 f) Test, commission the temporary setup and turn the power back‐on from the transformer T‐354 
to energize the chillers again.
