47th NATIONAL SAFETY DAY REPORT

47th National safety Day celebration has been observed at KRIBHCO Surat Plan on 6th March 2018, at
HRD Auditorium. The theme for this year of National safety day was “Reinforce Positive Behavior at
Workplace”.

To commemorate the safety Day the different Safety activities were conducted for create Positive
Safety Culture and safety awareness among the employees, Contractors, children of nearby schools
and township residents.

Shri R K Agarwal, Operations Director-KRIBHCO was Chief Guest and Shri M D Tarpara, Dy. Director,
DISH, Surat Govt. of Gujarat was the Guest of Honor during the function for the National Safety Day
celebration at KRIBHCO Plant.

The following activities were performed during the course of the function.
o Bouquet was presented to Chief Guest and Guest of Honour by Fire & Safety department.
o The welcome address was given by GM (Prod) Shri A.K. Das.
o Safety oath was administered to the gathering by Operations director KRIBHCO.
o Safety reports of KRIBHCO & HAEP were presented, the year 2017 completed with ZERO Injury
in KRIBHCO & HAEP plant premises.
o Operations Director-KRIBHCO & Shri M D Tarpara enlightened the audience with safety
awareness and stressed in the importance of safety in all walks of life.

Prize were distributed to winners of various Competitions by the dignitaries on and off the dais.

The program was concluded with vote of thanks from Shri. S.K Mahapatra, AGM (Technical).
